Koala Reverse Design.  The reverse of each 2009 coin depicts a koala sitting on a tree branch eating gum leaves.  The design incorporates The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark.

Australian Legal Tender. Issued as legal tender under the Australian Currency Act 1965, each coin features the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on its obverse.

Numbered Certificate of Authenticity. A numbered Certificate of Authenticity accompanies each coin. Jarrah Presentation Packaging Each coin is housed in a luxury presentation case with a jarrah timber lid. Each display case comes in an attractively illustrated box shipper.
