Gold itself, has carried with it throughout history a romantic lure and reverence that goes along with it's monetary value. It's value by weight is a measure of the real wealth and stability of national currencies worldwide. Koala Reverse Design.  The reverse of each 2009 coin depicts a koala sitting on a tree branch eating gum leaves.  The design incorporates The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark.

Australian Legal Tender. Issued as legal tender under the Australian Currency Act 1965, each coin features the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on its obverse.

Carson City, Nevada – a true Wild West town -- utilized the silver strike of 1859 to mint CC Morgan dollars. Also on the reverse side is the double C (Carson City) mark which sets it apart from other Morgan dollars.
