With a different design to be issued annually over the next three years, the Icons of New Zealand coin series will celebrate the uniqueness of our country suck as the New Zealand 2009 $10 Icons of New Zealand Kiwi - 1/4oz Gold Proof Coin.
Each year, a new coin will be designed depicting a kiwi with another icon of New Zealand’s beautiful natural world environment.
The pure gold and silver legal tender coins offered in the 2009 release have been designed locally with a contemporary style, and feature a travelor kiwi along side a stylised map of New Zealand.
